I have used the plug in when I first got my puppy and she was a little too hyper for our older dog and it worked wonders. However now I have moved and am really struggling to get her used to the cat here. I am thinking the collar could work better for her now being as it wll always be on her, but it states no where if it has full regular use as a collar, meaning hookups for her leash and tags, or if she still needs to use her other collar for that. Can someone who has used this please let me know? I just can't tell in the images. [...] Thanks!

How can I train my dog to stop aggressively barking at the trucks going by?

Whenever a truck goes by on the major road behind my backyard, my dog goes crazy! He starts barking and barking and if you try to stop him he tries to bite you. We put out box and now whenever he starts barking he rips a piece off of the box. I would really appreciate if anyone had any tips on how to stop my dog from barking aggressively. My dogs like to bark at the air so I know what you are feeling. They are not aggressive though. I can't help you with that part, but as far as the barking, we bought this thing that looks like a birdhouse. It sends of this sound that only dogs can hear when they bark. Eventually, the dog stops barking because they don't like the sound. We got it at Wal-Mart for $50 and it works really well.

I have a yorkshire terrier and she is very play full, I play with her every time she brings me a toy but the problem is she cries for everything and she spends the whole day barking and when people come over all she does is bark and cry to get their attention and then when they stroke her she wees herself and carries on crying and barking. Consider what's making your dog bark. Does he need yard access? Is a cat taunting him through the window? Does he just like the sound of his bark? Step2 Check your pet's basic needs: hunger, thirst or elimination. Your pup might be trying to tell you something. Step3 Remove your dog's motivation for barking. For example, make a dog door for easy outdoor access or close the shades. Step4 Invest in a citronella no-bark collar, which is effective and not cruel; if your dog barks, the collar sprays a small amount of citronella, which dogs dislike. Step5 Use positive reinforcement to train your dog to bark on command; this will help him learn how to be quieted on command as well. Step6 Say "Good" at the exact instant your pet exhibits good behavior, followed by a reward and plenty of praise. Step7 Consult a board-certified veterinary behaviorist or a pet behaviorist for additional suggestions if all else fails. hope it helps! Happy Holidays!

My dog barks like mad when he sees something move, but i dont want to stop him from barking- just something that will not let him bark when i use it, but he will bark nevertheless without it. Does a bark collar do that? Or anything else that isn't that cruel? I understand Brittany, but that stops him from barking forever, because he will be afriad that the collar wil yank him when he barks, even if it isn't on.

the shock collars are cruel i think. i had a friend buy one and put it on his wrist to check it out and he said it was like the equivalent of a stun gun or worse. needless to say he didnt put it on his dogs. but the one person did have a very good idea. the pronged collars. they dont actually hurt the dog. it just kind of startles them. that would be my best answer to you
